Jesus said in Mark 12:30, that the greatest commandment is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
This was quoted from Deuteronomy 6:5.

The way we express our love to God is through our worship of and service to God.

Jesus said in Mark 12:31, that the second greatest commandment is to “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

The way we express our love to others is through our fellowship and sharing our faith through evangelism.

The apostle Paul wrote in
2 Thessalonians 2:10, concerning the unsaved, “They perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved.“
If we love the truth, we will obey the truth. God’s Word is the truth.

Not only are we to love the truth, but we are to speak the truth in love as we see in Ephesians 4:15, “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.“

The Apostle John says in 1 John 3:18, “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.“

We speak the truth through our preaching and teaching the Word of God, but also, through our actions and conduct as we live our lives daily for Christ.
